Congratulations to Elisha Allan and Amanda Murby on their TA Summer Fellowship awards from the Graduate School!

Marcela Bolanos and Sigmer Quiroga both received a 3-month fellowship from the Smithsonian Institution to work at the Marine Station in Fort Pierce, Florida.

Linda Auker received an NSF EAPSI Award to study an invasive tunicate in New Zealand this summer.

Jessie Knapp received the Kidder Fund Award from the President's Commission on the Status of LGBT Students.

April Blakeslee successfully defended her PhD. She has received a postdoc with the Smithsonian Environmental Research Center.

Aaren Freeman successfully defended his PhD. He has received an NSF-funded postdoc with Fred Short at the Jackson Lab.

Blaine Griffen successfully defended his PhD. He has received a postdoc at the Institute of Ecology at the University of Georgia, working with Dr. John Drake.

Wan-Jean Lee is the recipient of a two-year graduate fellowship from NOAA National Estuarine Research Reserve Award for her proposed work in Great Bay.
